life is now
I found the following thoughts from 6 years ago, and really nothing much as changed. I’ve come and gone, committed to following the blowing wind. In the words of Emily Dickinson, “I am out with lanterns looking for myself”. And writing, that is definitely a part of me. So here goes another blog.
“hello fellow earthlings.
i need for you to stop asking me what i plan on doing with my life, with my degree, with my schooling. Does it really matter? I will still be me, with the same awkward comments, weird attempts at telling people i love them, roller coaster emotions… I will just be in a different place, with different people perhaps. The day to day will still be there, I will still have to brush my teeth, go grocery shopping, and change the milk bag in the milk container (unless I move to New Zealand where they use milk jugs.)
i guess what i am trying to say is… life is now. i want to be who i want to be now, i want live as if this was the ultimate state of my life. i want to choose to enjoy the simple things, and not constantly look at how i can improve my life.
and so far i am loving this way of life. it is so freeing and easy and peaceful. i will go where i will go, “wherever the wind blows.”
