Diana Taverner and light motifs, Slow Horses Seasons 1-3
I don't want to sound all pretentious film student about it, but given how carefully curated and perfectly placed other visual motifs are in this show (Spider's little foreshadowy halo, for example), I find it curious how often Diana is surrounded by and often partially obscured by directional light - refracting, blurring, distorting. Almost like her entire business is affecting an air of control and transparency while manipulating everything around her, or something.
