I was thinking about Wild! Dink, Imagine your concept that you were a friend of Wild and survived 100 years and Wild! Dink remembers you and so on, BUT Now imagine that you weren't even friends with Wild, you knew him from afar for different reasons and he did the same with you. They knew of each other's existence but never went beyond that because they never had a reason to interact.

Imagine if Wild! Dink feels this slight familiarity upon seeing you, and mistakes that feeling for something more and clings to you. It might be awkward for you because you've never really known Wild not by sight, you two never spoke and now you have this version of him following you everywhere (you can become attached to him or keep him with you out of pity, because Wild! Dink looks so lost when you're not around) (that's if he can't follow you wherever you go, he's always with you, he even waits for you outside the bathroom standing guard like the knight he once was, or so he thinks)

I've been thinking a lot about Warriors! Dink too, I feel like if I give him even the smallest compliment he won't leave me alone. Because I saw him, not his counterpart of light, him, I looked at him, Is this perhaps the first step to achieving something that his light counterpart does not have?

Ooooo yes! I think the easiest way to know of Wild, but not be friends with him is if you were in the army as well. Every and any knight knows of the legendary hero who had been training since he was just a kid. You managed to become a higher rank, lets say a knight major (second highest rank apparently). This means you've probably worked with Wild, but don't know him well personally. To be fair he's typically by the princess' side.

When calamity Ganon descended, you were tasked with guarding Purah in Hateno (If this doesn't follow Hyrule Warriors: Calamity I apologize idk what happens in that game). You were safe compared to your comrades, but at what cost? Survivors guilt followed you throughout the years as you continued to protect the small village, helping Purah with whatever experiment she had in store. Her aging experiment went wrong with her, causing her to become a child, but she knew exactly what went wrong, fixing her formula. She didn't like testing on other people, but you had turned old, you couldn't fight like you used to, which in turn made you feel useless. So you offered yourself to try it out.

This explains why 100 years after the calamity you found yourself youthful once more, looking just as you did when you were commanding your knights. So when a shadowy look-a-like of a hero you knew all those years ago pops out of nowhere, it makes you feel crazy. What the hell did this mean? Why wouldn't he stop following you? Why was he so insistent on needing to protect you? It was odd, but every time you tried to get him to go away he looked...lost. Almost like a kicked puppy. You hadn't even thought of raising your blade against the monster, clearly he wasn't like most. He wasn't killing others willy nilly...perhaps it was for the best you kept him by your side. No you totally did not like his company...

Omg and warriors dink? You give an inch and he's taking everything LMAO One compliment will do it. Cia created him to fight the version she loved. He never truly had a chance to earn her approval. Wars is getting all the attention and love, so when you say something even just little.

he's caught hook line and sinker. The rush he felt when you praised him is kinda embarrassing but he won't be shy to try and pull more compliments from you. You're no one special in the grand scheme of goddesses, witches and reincarnation cycles, but perhaps that's to his advantage. Warriors doesn't even have a chance of knowing you when Dark is whisking you away. You're someone Wars will never have the chance of having. Not when Dark got to you first.
