When you want to contribute to a small fandom but your writing is shit... not fishing for compliments I just know I need to improve and its hard to define exactly what is wrong with it and without feedback I just feel like any positive reactions to it are just like “participation” or thanks for contributing but not actually a fan of it itself

I was just woken up by the most immensely terrifying animal noises I have ever heard. Right outside my window, but I'm too much of a scaredy cat to go and see what they were being produced by.
