Possibly an unpopular opinion, from someone who works with access to people's personal information. Maddie needs, at the minimum, a formal write up, and that entire center needs another tech privacy training, because Noah should never have been able to see Maddie put in her password. When I worked in person, pre-covid, if I had to put in my password and someone was standing by my computer, even if it was someone who has access to the same systems I did, even if it was a supervisor, you did not start typing until you saw they were turned away. Noah was staring at her computer and keyboard. She should have given him a "Hey, I know you're new, but I can't put this in until you turn away". Part of this is on Maddie, and the show needs to acknowledge that in some way.
There's a reason the system logs who looks at a case, not just that it's been pulled up. Normally it's not 'a teenager is being threatened that we'll hurt his mom and stepdad', but there is a reason a dispatch would want a record of who takes calls, and looks at them.
I also hope Noah gets a very good lawyer, because if most people had to choose between our parents getting hurt, and rich people losing some fancy appliances and jewelry? Sorry rich people, but I care more about my mom's life than your flat screen. People got hurt, he tried to scare the thieves into laying low. And he caved the second it looked like someone else was facing consequences for his actions.
