Wait so some of yall dont know abt the pledge of allegiance 🦅🦅🦅🦅
#wouldratherbeinbed#boot yaps#i learnt the pledge when i was lkke 6 when i went to school in texas and didnt think much of it#now i realize its very cult-ish-#so for fellow non americans#the pledge of allegiance is smth public schools in rhe us do before classes start(might b wrong i dont remmeber the details)#u put ur rigjt hand above ur heart and take a literal pledge while looking at the us flag#while standing up#and once its over u sit back down and continue life#this happens every day#also i didnt think having the country flag in classrooms or taking pledges was a weird/foreign thing even after i moved back bc#even in korea theres the national flag in ebery classroom + we do our own pledge tjing before school events(so not ebery day)#also i tjink i got harassed by a few teachers when i was in texas for using my wrong hand during the pledge
