1. What unwritten book would you like to read? (a prequel or sequel, an unfinished novel being completed, an idea an author mentioned but never wrote…) A follow up book series set after the end of Trickter’s Queen. Tamora Pierce still might, but I never got massively into Beka when there was the Current Changing World of Tortall to adore.
2. Which fictional character(s) would you like to have as family members?
Gosh :P Annabeth or Rachel would make amazing sisters, Lily or Tonks as aunts, or Charlie Bradbury as a cousin…
3. What’s your favourite month of the year? December, usually. Summer, holidays, Christmas, study break and somehow my life seems to do big plot twist things at the end of the year.
4. If you could learn anything, what would it be?
How to fly? Or how to pick up languages really fast. I’m a ravenclaw, honestly any knowledge on anything is a thrill for me.
5. What’s your OTP to end all OTPs? To be honest I ship my irl friends more than I do characters. And I don’t think they’d appreciate me voicing their ships here :P
6. What’s your favourite mode of transport? Cycling. It’s not particularly great for long distance or when you’ve got a lot of stuff though, so otherwise by boat.
7. A mysterious millionaire is backing you to produce your dream TV show! What’s it about and who does it star?

8. What book/movie/tv show/etc would you love there to be a fandom for, but have never found one?
Isabelle Allende. But then again, her writing was originally written for the Spanish-speaking world.
9. What’s your favourite dessert?
No need for a recipe, just throw me anything that’s sweet, I alternate between chocolate anything combinations and fruit-based combinations
10. Are you watching the World Cup? Who are you supporting?
Argentina, but only casually. It also happens to be the only country that I’m aware of literally any players involved. Still not sure if Maradona is playing or just being involved with the media side of things. Enjoying the occasional news about it all, like a somehow live sports-orientated Hetalia.
11. What’s your favourite song?
Right now it has to be this acoustic cover of Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For that is sadly nowhere on youtube or itunes, but there are many close seonds. There are always many - it’s not my fault music is additive and magnificent and marvelous :P
12. If you had 24 hours in which you could magically poof yourself anywhere in the world, free of charge, as many times as you like, where would you visit and what would you do?
Does it have to be currently now? Sydney then, to be with a guy…long story. Or to New Delhi, where half the people I consider family and one person who is actually my family, are. Singapore and Cordoba come in as secondaries, but I yearn to be near the people in Sydney and Delhi, to the point where my dreams alternate between cities.
13. If you could redesign your body in whatever way you pleased, abnormal and supernatural appendages/adjustments included, what would you change?
Wings. For sure. One’s like Maleficent’s, big and beautiful and strong. Not sure how practical they’d be in the real world, but I’d be willing to make them work.
14. You get to sit down for dinner and a chat (separately) with three different people: one historical, one contemporary, and one fictional. Who are they and why?
Oh gods making me choose like that? Henry Miller, because his circumloctuousness prose resonated and inspired both my mind and soul. It would be the most bizarre conversation over coffee probably, and probably be more confusing than moving, but it would be something I’d utterly adore. Andrew Blake because everyone else is either too Famous and Dauntingly Unreal, or an international friend who I’ve already got plans in the near future to go travel and visit. And because Andy is amazing, obviously. And finally, Leo Valdez. We would spend the entire time speaking in Spanish and bouncing ideas off each other. And singing. And being awed struck at each other’s ingenuity and creativity. (At least, I would. I hope I’d be creative enough to contribute)
15. Tell us about something nice that someone’s done for you that’s really stuck with you.
When I was 16 my hosting foster family told my argentine guardians that I wasn’t welcome in our their home anymore, so I was effectively kicked onto the street. The family of a girl I shared class with took me in and made feel like I almost had a home for a while and I’m still amazed by their generosity today.
16. What supernatural creature(s) would you like to have as a pet/friend?
A dragon. But a small one, cat sized, that can sit on my shoulders and scout for me and spit sparks or flames at people who annoy me or he/she. Much bigger than that and we’d have an accomodation and feeding issue. XD My sister and I have planned this out in great detail.
17. If you could change one specific person’s opinion/perspective on something, who would it be and what would you change?
An old companion of mine, who thinks and lives in a world the exact opposite of mine. They think that talking to me holds no real value, I’d like to change that. But more importantly, I think, is that I’d like to change their believe that they deserve love and happiness, that they can achieve that, peace, fulfilment and more, no matter their level of material or career success.
18. What items do you own/wear that serve as your good-luck charms/talismans/focus items/etc.?
I have a pair of earrings I wear when I feel particularly loved? Oh and there’s my grandfather’s beautifully soft leather jacket. I wear it and feel like he’s hugging me, which is funny because his hugs when he was alive were always one armed, exuberant but slightly awkward and bony.
19. Tell us five things you love about yourself. Then give yourself a pat on the back, because you deserve it.
I love my eyes. The colour is of the sky at dusk, and with mascara my eyelashes can be long and thick and curled enough to pass for perfect false ones. I love my curiosity? The world is wonderful and fascinating, to not be curious about something just doesn’t seem natural to me. I love my ability to improvise and adapt to a situation with relative amounts of face saved. I love that I can find and/or create beauty in almost anything. I love that I have hard time hating things.
20. Name someone who played a part in making you who you are today whom you haven’t gotten to speak to in a long time. What would you say to them if you could talk to them now?
I honestly can’t name anyone off the top of my head, I’ve been developing my frankness muscles and telling wonderful important people in my life how wonderful and important they are to me has been done repeatedly.
22. What do you want your entrance/theme song to be whenever you walk in a room?
I think Drops of Jupiter by Train. It was the reoccurring song I listened to flying home after a year overseas, and somehow it feels both right and narcissistic, but I identify strongly with the girl in Drops of Jupiter. I can see that being me.
23. What, in your opinion, does the fox say?!
A fox is a canine, it barks, silly :P
