susanwho That sounds amazing! I love cooking sometimes and I know how it feels to *finally* be able to make things again after a long time c: Have fun!!! I bet everything will be delicious <3
*organizes thoughts together so this comes out at least semi-coherent*
Oh my gosh your theme! It’s so clean and simple and beautiful (so elegant..) and when I first opened it, my eye were immediately drawn to the book symbol in the top left. :3 It’s so cool that it sort of changes color when you hover over it. c: Did you do that? It’s so subtle.. (Of course it could not and I just played with it for *way* to long. That’s always a possibility) And I love how your scrollbar is that really nice light blue on a gray/black background... It really stands out really well (and you can actually scroll with it! *is jealous*)
Even if you didn’t mean for everything to work out like this, I know how much work just putting in the theme and making sure everything’s functional can be, so I commend you for that. You did a great job!! <3 And all of the colors on the theme work so well with your *posts*. Oh my gosh. There’s a lot of red right now, and the blue and the white offset it, and it looks really beautiful, and I’m trying really hard to sound like I know what I’m talking about right now but ahh it’s just so pretty. (And that the Hobbit graphic. *heart eyes* So crisp, such talent.. V nice reblogging there... ;))
Ahh, everything’s just so *calming.* Thank you so much!!!! I hope you have a really good day!!!!! <3

what's been going on? I seem to have avoided it entirely
It seems like there have been a discussion on whether homophobic people are shitty people or not which they obviously are. At least that’s what I’ve gathered.

Reader Problems Tag
Thank you susanwho for the tag!
You have 20,000 books on your TBR. How in the world do you decide what to read next?
I would probably pick the books that I have been dying to read for a while now and start with those. Then I can conquer anything
You’re halfway through a book and you’re just not loving it. Do you quit or are you committed?
It depends. If I really just can't get through it, I will quit. If it's at least bearable, I will make it to the end.
The end of the year is coming and you’re so close, but so far away on your Goodreads reading challenge. Do you try to catch up and how?
I have actually never done the Goodreads reading challenge. I've never done the whole keeping track online thing until last year where I had a page on my blog that I posted all the books I read for the year. I will hopefully try it next year, and get back to you!
The covers of a series you love do. not. match. How do you cope?
Wait for new editions. Until then, I would probably hide them somewhere in my house among other weird books.
Everyone and their mother loves a book you really don’t like. Who do you bond with over shared feelings?
As long as no one gets "mad" at me for not liking the book, I don't care much.
You’re reading a book and you are about to start crying in public. How do you deal?
Clench my jaw and look up to avoid crying. If all else fails, run to the bathroom.
A sequel of a book you loved just came out, but you’ve forgotten a lot from the prior novel. Will you re-read the book?
I will probably re-read the book right before the sequel come out.
You do not want anyone. ANYONE. borrowing your books. How do you politely tell people nope when they ask?
I've let people borrow books before with no problem. As long as it doesn't come back completely ruined, I don't mind. Sometimes a little damage happens and I understand. However, if it is a super important copy/edition, I won't let you borrow that, but chances are I have another copy of the same book that I will lend out.
You’ve picked up and put down 5 books in the last month. How do you get over your reading slump?
I will either re-read a book I know I love, pick up something I have been dying to read, or start with really small books.
There are so many new books coming out that you’re dying to read! How many do you actually buy?
As many as my dad will let me. We have a family Amazon account, so I just sort of put the books I really want in the cart, and when he makes an order he will buy them if we can.
After you’ve bought the new books you can’t wait to get to, how long do they sit on your shelf before you get to them?
I will probably wait to finish whatever book I am on and then just read the new books.
