I may be missing it somewhere, but I don't see anything that specifies what drink Obi-Wan is drinking in this scene. Later in Dex’s Diner, he drinks Jawa Juice (or Ardees) but what is he drinking here?
Looking at the types of beverages listed on Wookieepedia, here are the options I could find for a bright blue drink:
1. Abrax: an aquamarine cognac first mentioned in Legends in X-Wing: Rogue Squadron as a favorite of Horton Salm, and appeared in Canon in Shadow of the Sith as Enric Pryde’s drink of choice.
2. Antakarian fire dancer: this drink was on tap at the Outlander so it’s a contender. It was first mentioned in the Shadows of the Empire Planets Guide from West End Games. Star Wars Galaxies mentions that it was popular with “rough and tough types” so maybe not Obi-Wan…
(You can also see Obi-Wan's glass above in the photo from the "How to Not Get Eaten by Ewoks..." book, but it was unfortunately not tagged as to what it was...)
3. Blue Citrus Mule: this is a drink served at Oga’s Cantina on Batuu (Galaxy's Edge). Being that Obi-Wan’s drink doesn’t have the lime and ginger skewer nor is it in the distrinctive mule glass, so I’d say this probably isn’t it.
4. Chandrilan Blue ‘439: We don’t have an image of this wine, but judging from its name it must be a blue color. It was mentioned in the Legends novel, Coruscant Nights I: Jedi Twilight. Wine isn't usually drank in a teeny little glass like this, so I'd say no again.
5. Hoth Icebreaker: another drink served at Galaxy’s Edge, but this time at the unfortunately short-lived Galactic Starcruiser’s Sublight Lounge. While it shares a color with the beverage Obi-Wan drinks, I don’t think this would be it as it lacks the Hoth ice shard topper.
6. Jedi Mind Trick: another drink served at Oga’s Cantina at Galaxy’s Edge, the Jedi Mind Trick matches in color but might be too “on the nose” for Obi-Wan to order.
7. Purple Glandis Flower Juice: another drink you can order at Oga’s Cantina, the Purple Glands juice isn’t as bright as the drink Obi-Wan is imbibing in the Outlander, but it is a similar hue. I doubt this is the one.
8. Ortolan Blue Ferment: first mentioned in the Legends novel Death Star, we don’t have an image of this drink. It’s also possible it didn’t exist in 22 BBY, so again I doubt this is what Obi-Wan ordered either.
9. Spotchka: this is my personal headcanon for what he’s drinking. It’s pretty similar in color, and would give a nice connection to the current slate of tv series. Plus it’s non-alcoholic and something tells me Obi-Wan would want to keep his senses sharp while on mission.
So what do you think? Or does anyone know of a source that tells us what Obi-Wan ordered at the Outlander Club bar?
