Every day that I get up and have to get ready for work, I just think about how much i would love to be MC in ikesen or ikevamp. Because both are given the opportunity to be ladies of leisure...but for some strange reason insist on helping clean and shit.

I am a tired, overworked, and overstressed, working, 32 year-old mom. If I get the offer from Nobunaga to be a princess and just relax while others take care of cleaning and cooking for me, I am saying yes to that deal all day long. Or I get le Comte wanting to let me stay in his fucking mansion, that has a library and I can just do what I want all day long...like i could spend my days reading or writing...and then oh Comte wants to buy me pretty dresses and have me attend balls with him? Yes I am taking that deal!

Seriously, I would be taking these deals so damn hard.

You know those TikTok guys that cook/bake but do it all very sensually? Like they'll take their shirts off in some takes or roll dough in a sensual manner? I feel like Masamune would do that just to get MC going... or if Shingen tried cooking he'd do that. Motonari would be crude with it too in all honesty...maybe i should write a crack fic of Masamune leading a cooking class for all the guys and it devolves into sexy cooking...

Well good news is that this round of covid seems to be much milder than when I had it the first time in 2022. Which was also right before Christmas then too. Anyway, I just feel like I have a really bad cold this time instead of wishing someone would put me out of my misery.

Grief is a funny thing. Creeps up on you when you least expect it. Walking around doing normal things. Cleaning up and picking up. Then you find something and the next thing you know it hits you like a ton of bricks and you're sobbing your eyes out.

Started writing on Married to The Enemy again. Anything with Shingen is my comfort. Sometimes it feels weird writing. Sometimes I feel guilty spending some time on my hobby when my hubby doesn't feel like he can do any of his hobbies (because his dad is the one who got him into his hobbies and he doesn't want to do them without his dad now).

I've also had a harder time with this than I thought. I've been so exhausted (mentally, physically, and emotionally) from being the strong one for my hubby, MIL, and little whimsey. It's started to kick in some anxiety for me about my hubby potentially dying young (his dad was only 53). But I didn't realize how bad it was until I woke up from a nightmare where my hubby was in the hospital with the same infection his dad had had.
