and his lovely pet, rosette as well! both of them turn eight years old today! first released on march 27, 2018.
his originating game, cookie run: ovenbreak, was far different at his release than it is today, and yet only in this modern era of ovenbreak is where he truly shined (both meta and story wise)! his buff and costume in 2024 truly made him a staple in many modes, and even after several SEVERAL updates of newer cookies as well as buffs for other existing cookies, you can still see him in meta breakout combis to this day.
of course ignoring the meta, also only very recently did he get actual story involvement in dessert paradise 1 (2023) and dessert paradise 2 (2024)... something i truly wouldn't have expected him to actually get outside of fan content. im still so grateful for that. and now, even if he doesn't get anything else in the future, i am very content with the direction devsisters took with him.
its been a good couple of years for the guy, and hopefully he'll prosper more in the coming years as well <3
