I just want to be loved. The right way. Not just any love. I want to come home to all of the windows open, to the curtains swaying in the wind, to the smell of apple pie drifting down the hall. I want to be loved even when I’m quiet, deep in thought gardening. A love that will think my simplicity is admirable. Give me the love that is two cups of coffee gone cold because we decided to make love on the kitchen floor. Show me a love that fills the spaces between my ribs with passion. Show me a love that doesn’t fade in the night but whispers 'forever' as we fall asleep.

Once again, Kelvin Keraga hosts an evening of creepy and chilling tales, told by some of the region’s best storytellers. For hundreds of years writers have taken us by the hand and led us into old houses filled with apparitions: phantoms woven from memories and dreams and the dark core of our humanity. These tales are explorations of our souls, where characters cross the line between life and death, caught in situations that often draw out their deepest feelings. The supernatural teaches us what is natural: frailty, and strength, loss and recovery. The nurturing power of imagination. Whispering Bones is a great mix of great stories and the proceeds from the show will go to help Hubbard Hall’s Arts Education Scholarship program.

This program helps to ensure that no student at Hubbard Hall is ever turned away from a class based on financial limitations. This year’s featured cast includes: Siri Allison, Jack Boggan, Barbara Chepaitis, Kelvin Keraga, Stephanie Moffett-Hynds, Erin Ouellette, Tony Pallone, and Catherine Seeley.

Whispering Bones will be presented Saturday, Oct. 29 at 7:30pm. Tickets are $10 General Admission/$5 Students and are available online at hubbardhall.org, by calling 518-677-2495, or at-the-door.

Time for the SECOND ANNUAL HUBBARD HALL-OWEEN CELEBRATION

This community carnival-style event will have fun games and activities for the whole family on the Hubbard Hall Lawn on Saturday, October 29, 2016 from 1pm-5pm. Costumes are encouraged and the event is absolutely FREE. Stop by to play a few games, take part in one of their headline activities, and enjoy a treat from the bake sale. Local businesses like The Cambridge Public Library are joining in on the fun with booths and tables as well. Give them a call and ask for Kyra (ext. 304) if you’d like your business to celebrate Halloween at Hubbard Hall.

Hubbard Hall engages hundreds of artists and students and thousands of audience members each year in acclaimed productions ranging from world premiere musicals to the great works of Chekhov, Shaw, Miller, and Shakespeare, amongst many others. While serving approximately 8,000 individual contacts each year, Hubbard Hall maintains over 150 subscribers and 1,700 individual donors. We also partner with Bennington and Skidmore Colleges to provide professional theater training to their undergraduate students. Recognized as an arts institution in the state of New York, Hubbard Hall is a national model for community-based arts organizations.
