Whispershriek

🌈 What I want to see: I think Whisper should forgive himself. That's the most important step of acceptance/repentance for the past. I think he deserves to say that he did what he did but that was then and he has changed and that he can leave that in the past. Honestly want this for all of Canyon's "sad old people"

✨️ Initial impression: SQUARE WOMAN. I love her sorta "fuck around and find out" attitude and the fact that she's overall very open. At least in comparison to other Canyon cats lol. Also her and Lilac,,,

☘️ Dynamics with potential: JAYPAW JAYPAW JAYPAW JAYPAW. Big eared baby boy beloved- I love how stoic and closed off she is with practically everyone other than her boy... I can't wait to see how he develops under her wing.

Antlerblaze

☁️ Alternative clan: oh goodness... hmmm that's tough. He's incredibly tailored to fit AspenClan and then BriarClan- honestly I can't picture him as a CanyonClan cat, not because I don't think his personality would fit I think he might actually vibe super well- but just.... Antlerblaze as a Canyon cat is just so inherently odd and hard to imagine. So that would mean he'd be in Creek... and the only way I can see him defecting to join CreekClan is if he led his clan into a battle and made a horrible decision that he shouldn't have made that led to the death of Flare and Pinecone. That would just... break him. His family is everything to him, it's why I refer to them in like, a bunch of stuff as Ride or Die... because all 3 of them are like that and if he lost them he'd be so lost.

Swoop

🌸 Favorite relationship dynamics: Swoop isn't close with many cats, surprising considering how talkative and friendly he is. But there are... quite a few reasons that is the case that can be summarized as- this guy can be such a self-preservative prick and has burnt so many bridges because he was terrified of that commitment or because he simply got... bored. But he does have two cats he's formed a relationship. Mumblepaw and him shared a den for a good while after he broke his leg and Mumble was caring for him. The two formed a really wholesome bond in that time. He would tell Mumble stories about his life, some obviously embellished to be more fun- and many of them definitely not Lambleap or Meadowbright approved! He's told some pretty scandalous stories about his life that left them both laughing. With Lambleap back in Briar & Swoop's leg no longer needing constant attention, he went to move out into a nest in the warrior or elder or monarch's den but found that he didn't feel welcome or comfortable... so Lamb & Mumble agreed to let him continue to sleep in the cleric's den. He loves this kid. It's like having a little cousin and being like "this kid rules everyone look at this kid he's amazing and talented and everyone should know he is awesome". The other relationship is a very recent development. He and Talonfall are starting to get along the slightest bit... a very Geralt & Jaskier dynamic rn lol

Oriolepaw's ears flicked and a frown crossed their face when they noticed Whitekit starting to shiver. It didn't look like Blackkit had gotten to that point yet, but it was pretty fuckin' cold out here. Kits probably oughtn't be out in the snow, right? Hm. After a brief moment of deliberation, they shifted closer to the border, sitting more or less right on top of the scent line, and announced, "Alright, c'mere fuckers, you ain't freezing on my watch." A commission for @savingprivatebirb!

🔍 - is your character a good investigator or are they generally clueless?

I don't think Whisper ever got involved in the Official Investigations plot-wise so I have no dice rolls to back this up, but! I'd say Whisper is generally perceptive, but usually doesn't care to do anything about it. He's generally better at reading people or covertly eavesdropping on things than he is at tracking or locating clues visually or through scent. Figuring out what other people are thinking isn't that hard, but most of the time he doesn't do anything with that information except laugh at you about it, or crack jokes at your expense to his friends.

🎨 - does your character have a unique skill that sets them apart from others?

They are great at cosmetics! While they had less and less time for recreational activities in their youth with the war picking up, they've had enough practice that they're one of the more adept cats in the Clan at cosmetic applications of paint, like face and nail painting! You can always trust Whispershriek to make a thin enough palette of paint to go over your nails or to be easy to remove from your fur later, as long as you're not going to be too bothered by them taking the opportunity to draw stupid stuff on your face.

😻 - is your character insecure about their appearance or are they confident?

Oh Whisper knows they're hot shit asghgjd they're probably one of the most good-looking cats in CanyonClan just objectively, by Clan beauty standards! He doesn't tick all the boxes perfectly but he's high up there. He's never been insecure about his looks and he's not about to start anytime soon.

💥 - does your character have any habits that impact them negatively?

oh god. i mean. many. Whisper doesn't generally take things seriously – it's sort of a coping mechanism for him, but it also sometimes means ending up hurting others over matters that probably should've been handled more delicately, or pushing too far and winding up in situations that others and they themself may not be comfortable in. He tries to handle the feelings of at least his loved ones carefully, but being a jokestar doesn't always keep everyone's spirits up the way it's supposed to.

Whisper - 🌸, Sunstorm - 🔥 (I need to know... for reasons >:3), Hopfeather - 🍂

Whisper– 🌸 - how did your character grow up? were they loved by their family? did they have a good or bad childhood?

Whisper had a fairly good childhood! His dad was very loving and patient with his two little hellions, gave them a lot of freedom while still teaching them valuable lessons and making sure they behaved to some extent. Let them cuss even as babies but made sure they understood if someone else asked them to stop they should bc not everyone was chill with that and they shouldn't be rude lol. Whisper and his sis were always real close as well, they were a very tight-knit family! It was a very good childhood, except for the famine that happened, which did eventually take their dad from them. After that it was a lot colder and lonelier.

Sun– 🔥 - what gets your character angry? how quickly do they reach their breaking point?

Tough to say! Sunstorm doesn't appreciate disrespect, but they place more value in propriety than a single offense – that is, someone insulting them a little isn't worth abandoning their honor as a warrior just to throw a punch over something petty. The only things that make them truly enraged are betrayal and selfishness, which they abhor most within their own Clan. Anyone who betrays TideClan or puts them in an undesirable situation is bound to face at least a little of Sunstorm's wrath.

Hopfeather– 🍂 - does your character have a friend group? if so, who’s all in it? how does your character feel about each of them?

Yeah! She's not super close with all of them, she's closest with her siblings, but she grew up around a number of other cats in TideClan and is on pretty good terms with them all! She finds Drizzlepurr a little exasperating but mostly thinks he's a good guy; Gossamerdawn is very cool which is a little intimidating but she's pretty nice, though Hop feels bad about the last time they interacted; Sharkbite is the nicest and the coolest, and she really really deserves a break, she's been working so hard for the Clan and she's been so patient about it but she deserves a nap at this point; and she feels very bad for Tarponshine and hopes everything starts looking up for them now that they aren't wrapped up in that whole leadership mess anymore! They deserve a chance to relax too, their leadership (however short it was) felt like one crisis after another just kept getting thrown at them and they never had any time to just breathe, poor thing. Hopefully everything for all of them will start to settle down, now.
