The bird prompt for Day 3 was perfect as I've been wanting to draw Whistle with her bird for a bit now!

Meet Whistlebreeze's pet Whistling Warbler, named Chirpy! :D

They are such friends and the little bird's personality and bond with Whistle is very much inspired by my serama chickens (adorable and affectionate and such blessings that I thank God for <3)

I'll still need to come up with the backstory of how Whistle found her but I'm thinking Chirpy was likely a rescue. She's friendly and sweet and Whis has been teaching her to be an emotional support animal for sick cats.

I still draw and I'd still like if people said some nice things sometimes #it doesn't have to be too much but It's just disheartening to feel like I'm drawing for nobody #yeah I do this for myself but I post it for other people to see it. might aswell just keep the art in my folders if nobody reacts

Whistlemonth day 2 - kittens! <333

Whistlepaw meeting Leafkit, Grasskit, and Branchkit for the first-ish time!

I was planning to draw Stretch and Rustle and they will show up in future pictures, but I realized I *had* to draw Whis loving on her unborn baby siblings 💗

So here is very happy momma Featherpelt with an excited Whistlepaw :')

I've also included sketches of what the kits will look like when they're about young-apprentice-aged!

I headcanon that Whistlepaw talked (and talked and talked and talked) to the babies so much before they were born and Featherpelt found it amusing and adorable. :) <3

I'm realizing the framed photo thing is becoming a habit and sort of even part of my art style lol which happened here, and I think this turned out quite cute - and definitely decorated by Whis, with little hearts made of the things the kittens are named after.
