I'm sorry, I will never get Misa and Light falling in slow motion off the Ferris Wheel with that FUCKING CHICAGO SONG playing in the background like it's supposed to be emotional out of my head, that scene is gonna haunt me until I die.
They should make a western adaptation of Tokyo Ghoul, but it will take place in New York and Touka/Tessica will be played by Jennifer Lawrence, Kaneki/Keith will be played Benedict Cumberbatch. The rest of the cast will consist of only white actors with one token black actor that will be killed off in the first 10 minutes (for “diversity”). We have to have an almost entirely white cast, since it takes place in America, and Japanese-Americans don’t exist. It will still be called “Tokyo Ghoul”, however, since we need to say true to the source material.
