Ignis squinted, as the pieces of snow slowly fell to the ground in front of him over the next seconds.

“.....This is war.”, he declared, and grabbed as much snow from the ground as he could possibly hold.

“Yes.  Is that a problem?”

Dawn was only just starting, the lightly slowly bleeding back into the sky as night turned to day.  He hadn’t slept much, though it wasn’t unusual.  Sleep was a want, not a need.  His body didn’t require it to function, not since his Ascension.

He’d spent the last few hours looking over Aurora, combing her hair and stroking her back.  Careful not to rouse her, as she needed sleep more than he did.

His thumb traced over her cheek and down her jaw, smiling gently.

“You look beautiful.”

Arkon was currently pacing around the clearing just a little ways from his cave, low growls escaping him as he shook his head. He then began to rub against trees and rocks, grunting as he did. He was currently in a major rut, one of his worst yet. He was about to claw the tree when he picked up a familiar scent.

A very alluring scent.

"Pallasss!" Came the drawn out call of his name as the woman came in, holding a needle and medical thread in one hand while the other was held upwards slightly, a deep gash in her forearm. "Can you help me thread this? It kinda hurts to move my other hand too much but I need to stitch it up."

   “Hm?..” his eyes instantly fixated on the wound. She didn’t need to tell that it hurts, the smell was enough to tell.

   “Hell, what did you do to yourself?” frowning he carefully inspected the wound. Yeah, it was rather deep - definitely needs stitches. Pallas clicked his tongue. Not being able to regenerate would be such a bother. At least the bleeding seemed to have stopped. Frowning, he took the thread and the needle.

   “Sit down, I’ll handle this. Better find something to bite... maybe you have some fomenta herb balm on hand too?” He threaded the needle and waited for her to settle down. “If not I could go search for some herbs after I’m done. You know, it disinfects and accelerates the healing.”

❄ | " Ah- " he recoiled his arm back, the icy length of shoulder to hand was heavy he admitted, in her presence he felt as if it were his original, normal arm again... it was nice while it lasted, " - my apologies... I have grown so use to it, it's like- part of me now. " His tone sounded disheartened, to match the sad little smile directed down into the reflection of himself into his own icy palm.
