The feelings he was currently experiencing consisted of confusion, irritation and mild intrigue as to how in the world someone so small (relative to him, at least) could take up so much space, but soulmates might have been pushing it-- unless, of course, you counted a strong and sudden premonition of impending doom.

Vanessa was sitting in some cafe with an unnecessarily fancy drink, trying to relax after another day of work. Trying being the key word here, because there was a really pretty blonde woman and Vanessa was trying not to stare too much, or at least not stare too obviously. Her back was turned, making it unlikely Vanessa would get caught (for now), and Vanessa let her gaze drift back towards her - just in time for the woman to turn and meet her eyes.

Her face burning, Vanessa whipped her head back down to stare at her drink. Dammit. She probably could have played it off as being lost in thought, but that reaction was incriminating, plain and simple. Now she could only hope that the woman wasn’t too creeped out or offended.

‘Please don’t come over,’ Vanesssa prayed. She’s not at all ready for a confrontation. ‘Please don’t come over.’
