Honoring our past on this #IndependenceDay. This is the Lenox White House China charger (Picture 1) and dinner plate from the Ronald Reagan service, as part of a new 4,370 piece collection. Designed by Nancy Reagan in 1981, paid for by the Knapp Foundation for $209,508, and was meant to create a service big enough to host state dinners without having to combine multiple different services, as many pieces from other collections had broken or disappeared. #lenox #reaganchina #whitehousechina
