✨PERFECT✨ There’s something ‘calming and pure’ about the colour ‘WHITE’ and the different meanings it represents. #WhiteOuts 💕🖤💕 (at Lagos, Nigeria) https://www.instagram.com/p/BtxwsoMnTOR/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=18avdxpo5dmy7
This is what it was like almost every damned day this year. I was walking around in this shit all the time. One time I hid in the port-o-potty because it was so bad I couldn’t breathe.
Hey fellow haunters I have a quick question I'm wondering if you can help me with!
My contacts dried up so I am planning on ordering a few new pairs. While normally, I would wait until closer to haunt season, I am a cosplayer as well and am going to need them for that purpose. Dont worry I plan on taking much better care of them so they will last through haunt season! I like to get the most use out of my contacts, so I use them for makeups, cosplays, and haunt season.
With that being said, I need your opinion on something. I want to buy a pair of whiteout mesh contacts to use this season. However, I am hesitant because I have read they still limit your vision. I know full whiteouts without the mesh make you completely blind and mesh whiteout is supposed to allow you vision while giving the same effect, but I am wondering whether it would be safe to wear the pair at the haunt. If my vision is impaired too much, I'm worried I wont be able to see enough to safely do my job (ie: safely move from scene to scene, scare customers without being a danger to them due to my impaired vision, and jumping/popping out) I just really dont want to buy them and have them be a waste of my money so that's why I'm asking you guys!
So I was wondering if any of you or fellow actors at your haunt have experience with these contacts? If so, was your vision impaired significantly? Did you feel you could still see well enough to walk around in the dark safely?
You know how there are blackouts in the summer, when it's really hot and everyone's blasting the ac? Well, in Canada we have whiteouts in the winter. It's when there's so much snow you literally cannot see anything. So we miss school and have huge snowbanks to play in, it's great!!
