What was Eldred like before the demon blood? Is he the aspect in control during blackouts? How blackouts look for the Cranium Cups?

Zed: I got this one fellas! So Eldred gets out and this place floods in dark magic. We get locked out of the panel and can’t control cuss all! Memories are corrupted and we are scramblin’ ta catch the cusser.

Armstead: He completely overrides the system every time. Like it’s child’s play.

Gilead: Meanwhile we’re watchin’ some broken up images of what Eldred is makin’ us do. Oh stars. Nope. Not thinkin’ about it.

Red: We’ve killed people before wimp.

Gilead: Not like that and you know it!

Red: Mmhph.

Zed: Anyway! It takes all of us and only when we get a cussin’ chance to wrangle control back. Cusser can just keep goin’ even with all of us fightin’ him. Damn magic.

Armstead: Usually it’s overwhelmin’ and Cup passes out for a time. Short, long, it’s never consistent.

Zed: And we wrangle the damn scum back into his cage.

Jared: Usually he’s cacklin’ and braggin’ and such.

Gilead: And I pick up whatever pieces are left and add them to my mountain of cuss why are we even tryin’?

Armstead: And we try to piece together what happened and manage the fallout. Sometimes it’s alright and Mugs would Abel to keep him busy and give us our chance.

Gilead: And sometimes it’s bad and we have to skip town.

Zed: But it’s always stardust.

What does it mean if I rarely have “blackouts” or “come too”? Does that mean I don’t have DID? Full blackouts are uncommon; often, people experience what is called grey outs. Grey outs are where you remember some details but not all, and it’s very difficult to think of the memory. When reminded of things that happened, you may remember some and not others. My clients usually describe this as when you have a big night of drinking and remember some of what you did but not other things. Grey outs are far more common than blackouts, which still count as a dissociative experience. Additionally, people can go years without memory loss and still have DID. You don’t need to have full blackouts for a diagnosis.

im taking a break from tech

So I have been having little "blackouts" for a while now where basically I start shaking, my vision goes blurry, I hear screaming and can't tell if it's me or in my head, and often collapse but we have determined it's not seizures. The one thing I've found that connects all my blackouts is most happen after I've been on tech so I'm going to take a month long break from tech to see if that helps any. Don't worry but you won't see me this march. If it does help I'll figure out a way to balance my tech to stop the blackouts but if not I'll be returning to normal! Wish me luck and goodbye for now!

East coast could see rolling blackouts as data centers strain the electric grid

PJM, which services nearly 70 million Americans, could be forced to trigger blackouts during periods of high demand

Warning signs are already flashing red. This summer, heat waves surged demand for power on the PJM grid to “near-record highs” as consumers tried to cool their homes, according to the Journal. PJM responded by requesting that all power plants operate at full capacity. PJM also paid multiple large energy users, including factories, to cease operations.

While historically rare, rolling blackouts can be deadly. Over 200 people died in Texas in the winter of 2021 after the grid operator in the state ordered utilities to institute rolling blackouts to prevent complete grid failure amid freezing temperatures. Some Texans were without power for days.

A few months ago, PJM came up with proposals intended to balance the needs of both consumers and data centers. One plan said they would slash power to data centers during periods of strain.

Tech companies such as Amazon, Microsoft and Google opposed the plan, claiming it unfairly singled out data centers. They responded by offering their own proposals, which would make going offline voluntary.
