Pardon-my-tits toppled both Sean AND Devin!
All I am saying is that we need to be subjective. We can not just assume that the victim is one just because they say they are.
I can't just assume he didn't bust her up on multiple occasions just because he...never denied it.
While I do understand your willingness to automatically side with the victim, especially with the poor statistics involving convictions of abusers and rapists of both sexes, I also think that it does more harm than good. We have to realize that there are false accusers, and if we always jumped to side of the victim, there would be a myriad of false convictions. That doesn't help the real victims either. From what I've read, I don't see any reason to vilify Fassbender.
LMAO okay i want you to sit and think for a minute about what it would take to get "a myriad of false convictions" in the american penal system when it's a woman versus a man.
I've heard some people mention Fassbender beating a woman. I don't really know much about the incident, but from a small, and I emphasize small amount of research, it seems it wasn't proven or even really taken that far into court. Also, it does seem strange that it didn't come to light until quite a while after the fact. You seem to know about what happened, and I am mainly just curious about what the story is.
there are posts on the first or second page of my blog that should help you.
there are plenty of reasons, the most common being that abusers and rapist barely see court let alone jail time, due in a lot of parts to the fear that abusers use to control their victims. there wasn't even a settlement out of court and he refused to comment, so no I don't really think it was for ~money or whatever other motive they're accusing her of.
so being withdrawn from court doesn't really excuse him of anything in my opinion, because there is pretty much no way I would ever side against someone who claims they were abused on multiple occasions and feared for the lives of their children.
