Just finished it last night. I really liked it!

I like the world a lot and the music was just right up my alley! I wish the episodes for seasons was longer tho so that they could flesh out the characters/world a lil bit more cause that was what interested me. It was super pretty tho v well done animation (weird instances of CG tho lol)

Know any good Prince of Tennis fanfiction?

Oh god uhm I'm terrible at keeping bookmarks when it comes to manga fanfiction and most the one I read are either OTP related or sometimes I read it because it's terrible and I'm a horrible person. If you are interested in any particular pairings, perhaps I could help it, although for general stuffs I very much enjoy kittykittyhunter's fanfics. If you do Pillar Pair, solosorca has some really cute and fluffy fics that are just right for a good night in, and if you don't squint too much, The Dispossession of Echizen Ryoma can be gen enough

Ryoga's mother died of unknown causes when he was very young and that prompted Nanjiroh to bring Ryoga into the family. Considering his age difference to Ryoma, I would have to think that Nanjiroh had his relationship with Ryoga's mother long before he met Rinko. It might also help to note that Ryoga was born in Japan. And Nanjiroh met Rinko in America and Ryoma was born in America (I believe?). Ryoga was brought to America after his mother's death because the Echizen family lived there.

Oh okay, thank you! That clears something up for me. I do think Nanjiroh doesn't have the gut or the history to cheat on Rinko after he met her, and given Ryoga's age, it was probably before Rinko. But still, the questiones remain that:

a) If Ryoga was brought from Japan to Nanjiroh's and lived there with him for quite a while, why was he send away? Why can't he stay with his biological father?

b) Did Ryoga keep contacts with the Echizens? If he did, how come they never mention him before? KONOMI-SENSEI!!!!!!!!!

c) I still don't get why bring back Ryoga at all. I mean, you have to rework your own character's background and history, the timeline and all that jazz, and IT STILL DOES NOT MAKE ANY SENSE TO ME.
