more ordinary days clips!!
hey, so a week ago, keen company decided to release a few clips of some of the songs from their production of ordinary days back in 2018!! they’re really short but if you want to see how well the actors portrayed their characters and how the direction of the scenes worked in comparison to the original cast, go check it out! it’s all on youtube, so just search “ordinary days keen company” I guess.
**if you don’t know, the keen company production of ordinary days was the first (and so far, only) off-broadway revival of the show since its first new york run back in 2009. if you’ve somehow been following this blog ever since the start, you probably know how much I love them and reblog/post stuff about their production. they’re easily in my top 3 versions of the show besides the og run.
“You begged. We answered. The long awaited sequel has arrived. Drunk Wicked Act Two.”
ELHenningsen: “Final read-through before DC! #sigdiner @Matthewjethomas @DerekKlena @AdamJKantor @soltaunow @whitneybashor”
Whitney Bashor, who plays Marian/Chiara and understudies Kelli O'Hara in Bridges, pauses for a photo with the Tony nominee.
Hi, I am so in love with the casting of the main trio in the Dallas production of Fly By Night back in 2013 because they had Kristin Stokes, Whitney Bashor, and Damon Daunno!!! As a TLT musical, Ordinary Days, Edges, Hadestown, The Lucky Ones, and Beardo fan, that is one of the most amazing casting I could dream of❤
Ordinary Days (Keen Company, 2018) It might just be my softness for ray of sunshine/cynical and sarcastic duos but Deb and Warren are honestly my favourite theatre friendship
Whitney Bashor is stupid under-rated and I’m a hoe for Broadway sopranos doing Joni Mitchell.
