Whitney Dafoe has posted to reddit and his blog that he is able to eat again! And has been able to eat for most of 2024. ME/CFS collapsed his stomach in 2013 and he had been on a j-tube since. Anyone who has had me/cfs for a long time knows how hard it is to keep the faith that your body can recover, and I don’t think any of us would have expected Whitney to be getting all of his calories from food. I recommend reading or listening to his update - it gave me so much hope on a day when I really needed it. Pacing WORKS. We just need the support to be able to heal.
