so I pretty much rewatched series twelve today and like BOYYYYY they really weren’t joking about implementing thasmin in from series twelve onwards. Now that we know it’s canon it means so much more, the subtle pining, the standing slightly too close to one another, the gentle touches that could be easily missed, these “secret looks of love” and adoration and genuine care for one another.

I know I say this every time that a fav doc x companion duo of mine are about to leave but these two REALLY deserve more time together. They could do so much more and be so much more but all of this, everything we’ve gotten and what’s to come is so special and means so much because it’s happened in this moment and under all these unexpected circumstances and that makes this whole journey with them just a little bit more beautiful

so I’ve seen this thing recently where people will say ‘if you don’t like (x piece of media) I’m convinced you just weren’t paying attention’. And, like, maybe I need to stop looking at people’s opinions on the Thirteenth’s era of Doctor Who, but no. One can notice the symbolism and still find that other elements of it strike them as worse enough to overshadow it. Just because something has deep symbolic visual details or uses leitmotifs well doesn’t mean anyone is required to like it. And this goes for all media, not just my blorbo show.

Don’t mind me - just getting emotional about how the woman who fell to earth first aired on October 7, 2018 and how tomorrow is October 7, 2022 and Jodies gonna leave soon 😭

I know they probably won’t but it would be absolutely SICK if they dropped a big bit of promo for the power of the doctor on October 7, the exact date that jodies first episode was released. It would be so beautiful and a full circle moment - I’d cry

It’s the month of the queers and the month to celebrate the end of the chibnall/whittaker era!

I’m so emotional about this! I feel excited, NERVOUS, distraught and bittersweet. Bring. It. On.

ok ok ok so bc I enjoy suffering, I’m gonna rewatch the chibnall/whittaker era starting with series eleven and ending with legend of the sea devils.

in total, there are 30 episodes.

assuming** the centenary will come out October 16 (or October 17 for me), starting September 17, I’m going to watch The Woman Who Fell to Earth and watch an episode each day consecutively till I reach LotSD
