  ❛    mae ,  chéri ,   ❜     lingering  sleep  distorts  his  usually  smooth  voice ,  giving  it  a  rough  texture .   HE’D  FALLEN  ASLEEP ,  her  pressed  close  to  accommodate  the  small  dorm  bed ,  during  the  film  they  were  watching  but  sleep  around  mae ,  EVER  THE  QUESTIONING  PRESENCE ,  never  lasted  long .   stretching  his  arms  for  a  moment ,  luc  takes  the  time  to  shut  the  laptop  then  shifts  onto  his  side  to  reach  over  the  girl  &  set  it  aside .   now  with  caution  out  of  the  way  luc  settles  back  into  the  comfort  of  the  bed  then  further  entraps  mae  in  his  arms   &   tucks  her  head  under  his  chin .    it’s  far  too  late  an  hour  for  him  to  attempt  thought  on  her  wonderings  but ,  knowing  she  won’t  settle  without  some  sort  of  resolution ,  avoids  I  DON’T  KNOW  as  an  answer .      ❛    i  haven’t  given  many  thoughts  to  turtles   &   their  shells  but  maybe  if  we  sleep  …  we  may  learn  in  a  dream ,  oui ?   ❜
