Last night I had a pretty interesting conversation with someone about the differences between Hawai'i and New York. This person was completely infatuated with New York, I would use the word obsessed even. What I concluded was that both Hawai'i and NY have the ability to put a spell on you. The energy in each place are so opposing but also so strong. This is something that each place has, and now I've been feeling as though you could find happiness in any location as long as you can channel your energy and passion into what that place has to offer. Like a relationship with your location...you'll always have to make some sort of compromise. Maybe there isn't enough hot, sunny weather. Maybe you are far from family.
