This is definitely hard to look at but I have to remember that this is before. I signed up for a challenge with other youth pastors so I hope for that to give me some continued motivation.
I will post "afters" at Feb 1, Mar 1, and finally April 10 (my birthday) at the end of the next 100 days.
Hit that 75:20:5 ratio. My husband's plate was the corn and salmon. I had my piece of salmon for lunch so I had hotdogs haha.
My dinner, half eaten, lookin' a little rough.
This morning I was tired and definitely regretted spending 6 carbs on my coffee because I ended up finding flatout 9 carb giant flatbreads to use for tacos so I made it right to my limit of carbs today. I typically like to stay under 20net but it just was not a thing today.
Those tacos were so 👏 dang 👏 good 👏though!
Definitely need to eat more than 700 calories in a day. Definitely need more protein.
Hardboiled some eggs and I think I will come much closer tomorrow!
New beginnings in the middle.
Someone once said to me that it doesn't matter where you are, you can start again. That is your new beginning. In the middle.
I feel that.
Today was a new beginning for a multitude of reasons; I woke up before 7am on purpose, I took vitamins, I made my husband a coffee, I grocery shopped at 8am. What a morning! I have a student from youth staying with me for the next couple of weeks as a retreat of sorts, and maybe it's playing mom that is giving me motivation to be up and at 'em, but I'm thankful for the opportunity to be a blessing and find a very life-giving rhythm before the sun is ready for the day.
Truly I am renewed and looking forward to continuing on in the middle of my journey, with a new beginning and a new perspective that only comes from slowing down and taking in the newness of dawn.
Yikes all around.
1. My pedicure 😂😂 for sureee got off the scale and booked an appointment for thursday.
2. Gained back 12lbs.
3. Did not eat enough at all. But hey 💁🏼♀️ I am under my carb limit so #winning.
Here's to a better tomorrow!
