There wholesome thoughts I swear-
I thought IF they were to get close, dib would be glingy, and just enjoy zim's presence at anytime and be himself but zim also enjoys his presence after finding out he was sent to earth to be rid of. After all that tallest drama, zim stays on earth not knowing were else he could go + earth is not known anywhere in the galaxy yet. Eventually just closens his relations with the only human he's ever known aka dib but just dosent know how especially with dib being in his daddy issues state of mind with signs of breaking down at any point.
