i wanna start this au/series thing. no idea for a name but this is what I got so far

adam and reader knew each other since like 1st grade. he was always the loud, obnoxious kid who was friends with everyone and like half the girls had a massive crush on him. user, on the other hand, was always more quiet, the kid who would draw in the back of the class blasting showtunes in their earphones and gets all As.

surprisingly adam didn’t tease or bully them, no- no, they were pretty much best friends. he realized pretty quick he had a massive crush on them. and not one of those one week long things. it lasted the entire time they knew each other.

got enough backup context? ok let’s get to present time

they’re in college and oh my fucking god the tension is INSANEEEE LIKE KISS ALREADY!!!!

they're constantly next to eachother, they almost kiss like all the time, they can only think about each other. so you’d think at some point they’d confess and they’re together and everything is whimsical right??

well it sure is a shame adam’s dating eve.

the tension thats been building over the years especially as they got older

all the “you guys are so cute together!” and “are you a couple?” comments just making it worse too cause its always like “no haha were not together!” but both of you wanted to just be like YESSS

i like to think that reader was oblivious their feelings for adam up until college. just as reader was about to confess he tells them that hes with eve now!!

readers like “oh thats great!” but inside they jusy want to bang their head against a wall

adam got tired and thought reader was never gonna love him the way he loves them so he got with eve! and shes great, but shes not reader

"car thing" is just my rambly thoughts of how I would write that talking car fanfic I have been referencing but not writing for soooooooooo long T_T

Harry is a sentient car fanfiction

He talks through the radio and "sees" through the headlights and into the carriage

All the science and lore explanation I am not interested in writing but I need SOMETHING in the fic to explain the AU or else it won't make sense

Will tag that "Disco Driving" fanfic as inspiration

Kim snatched "ownership" of Harry as a car when he was crashed in Martinaise from an irresponsible detective

Some romantic tension but mostly that is borrowed and the feeling is that they have dived head-first into this sensual relationship without discussing the specifics. They're both still very repressed, of course

Kim is doing general car maintenance by GOD am I about to force myself to try and describe car stuff without the practical knowledge AGAIN? apparently

Engine stuff engine stuff. Harry shows human emotion through things like the flickering of the headlights, the sound of his voice in the radio getting more and more scratchy and technological sounding, the windshield wipers moving rapidly, and stuff

While we’re still on the scissoring thing, I don’t know if it fully counts? But my girlfriend and I’ve gotten off on the same vibe at almost exactly the same time before, and that was as a wise person once said “mashing genitals”! So it’s definitely smth that can be very fun and varied if that does count! If it doesn’t count as scissoring though, oh well, don’t care, still got off :D

i spent a lot of time on melchior only to realize that 1) altamura heads warp face layers and 2) these goggles have an alpha problem at literally every angle but i think he still turned out ok
