From a student's essay on Luna Lovegood

The moral of the story is: it doesn’t matter if you wear plum earrings, or read The Quibbler, or believe in Nargles; all that matters is that you make the right choice all the time and remain awesome your whole life (even if it means straying from convention). Luna Lovegood is as awesome as it can get. And so, for Luna and all the other brave outcasts out there, I swear I believe in Nargles.

“I Believe in Nargles” by The Whomping Willows is part of my curriculum every year, as I think the message is an important one. I am proud to be sending this student off to junior high next year with this lesson so clear in his mind. Mischief managed.
