whoneedstransitions I am pretty sure it is. now that you mention it, I didn't even think of the consequences in that regard. I'll need to look into them. I know for a fact that less and less Moroccans seem to live in the Marrakchi medina as time goes by. Unfortunately. :(

it’s so annoying, i had a friend watch it simultaneously and we text-cackled our way through it. someone really needs to give out badges for making it through these kinds of films.
I wish I had done that! I always watch awful movies on my own and then complain about them on tumblr.

I don’t get the bended knee thing?! My proposal was technically in public because it was on the beach but we were both sitting down and it was a lot more comfortable that way because no one else realized what was going on.
yeah me neither. :/ That's actually what brings the attention to what you're doing (and it just adds to the emotional pressure of it in a public space).

Surprise is what makes it bad. Public can be ok if both already know the answer & they’ll like it
Yes, that's definitely the surprise that makes it bad. and even in such settings, the answer is clear cut, it's whether a yes or no. You wouldn't be able to have a reasonable conversation if you have your doubts about it. Shitty move if your partner isn't aware of it beforehand, imo. :/
