Sunkissed my beloved!!! I love them sm too so take some good food!! I hear your please and here’s a thank you for the ask!! I went with a specific theme of gifts, but I have other stuff if you want to hear more OwO
Kel is the person who gets his partners lots of gifts. He’s a very outwardly person, and that translates to their relationship. Kel is very touchy feely and tells them he loves them all the time, and he also gets them small gifts almost constantly. They have no idea how or when Kel will dig through his backpack and pull out a misshappen lump wrapped in newspaper.
Sunny moves away, so they only see him on the weekends. He spends every single weekend with the two of them though, and they have a little routine. Basil or Kel will sleep over at one anothers house on Friday, and on Saturday morning they will wake up early and make breakfast together, then go to the train station to wait for Sunny’s train to come.
Kel always brings a little gift for Sunny. Always. Even when Sunny tells him he doesn’t have to he says he likes to.
When Sunny gets off the train he gives each of them a kiss, and then Kel hands him his gift. It’s never anything big or flashy- a little trinket he bought at Hobbeez, a bar of Sunny’s favorite chocolate that he got for working for Miss Candice after school for a few hours, a tiny cat plushie he won at the arcade that week.
Just little things he knows Sunny would love. It never fails to make Sunny blush, and he treasures every tiny gift. It helps him to decorate his new room, which at times feels a little barren and empty.
Kel also gets little things for Basil a lot. He treats to most of their ‘dates’ he buys Basil succulents and new pots for his plants. Kel doesn’t have a ton of money, but he always tries to do little things to make them feel all of his love
They already do, and they tell him that, but it’s not enough for Kel,
For every anniversary they have Basil makes a collection of all the photos he’s taken that reminds him of each of them that year and makes a little photo album. He makes one for Kel and one for Sunny with some of the same pictures, but different themes and placements. He also writes a special little note in the front cover for each of them. Sunny and Kel both treasure their albums but they don’t show one another. It’s not necessarily a spoken secret, but something that personal sometimes demands to be shared only with yourself
He had only planned to do it for their first year anniversary, but in the month leading up to their second anniversary both Kel and Sunny mentioned how all they wanted as a gift was another photo album. After that it became a tradition
Sunny isn’t big into displays of affection in any way. He’s always been a silent type, and that doesn’t change. He gets very specific, very expensive gifts.
Neither Basil or Kel are sure where Sunny gets the money for some of the things he buys, nor how he knew what they wanted, but they’re both very appreciative.
For gifts Sunny usually likes to get a person an experience of some sort rather than a physical gift. For Kel’s eighteenth birthday he got them all tickets to a basketball game with his favorite team. Kel demanded to know how he got them such good seats, and Sunny shrugged. Neither he or Basil really knew what was going on, but they liked it all the same.
One of his special gifts for Basil was a trip into the city to the Botanical Gardens. They stay the night on the floor of Sunny’s new bedroom and see all of Kel’s gifts strewn about his room. Then the next day bright and early they take the train to the gardens and spend the whole day walking around and listening to Basil happily ramble on and on about every plant and flower they see
Then Sunny drags them to a secret nook where a whole dinner has been set up for the three of them. There’s fancy chairs and a table in a hidden section of the gardens and they eat all of the best foods. They don’t know how Sunny managed this, but he never reveals his secrets. He just likes to make them happy in the ways he knows they would enjoy.
The other things that Sunny gifts is drawings. He never keeps any of his own drawings of them, they always go to either Basil or Kel
