5 has the muscle strength of a wet noodle and then 7's bones are made of pure carbon steel you could hit him with an anvil and then it would bounce off his head like a rubber ball

as I watch through the matt smith run of doctor who I am finding myself more and more drawn to the episodes where 11 is portrayed at all points as the worst person in the room, where his childishness is not portrayed as him being a silly funny guy, but as his way of avoiding the responsibility of his actions, where he's portrayed as selfish and petty and mean and all around not someone you would want in your life. I find myself drawn to episodes like The Girl Who Waited, and The God Complex, and Angels in Manhattan.
I think the reason for this is that I want to believe 11 is written this way on purpose. that his behavior that I can only describe as "sex pest behavior" and misogyny are character flaws and not attributes that he has by nature of being written by a raging misogynist. that the same doctor that told a dalek to kill itself, that fought in the time war and wiped out his own species, that knows the consequences of his own actions more than anyone else in this show, was redesigned with the personality of a 12 year old and no sense of responsibility for his actions for a reason, and not just because it would be really funny to kids.
because at the end of the day! if he was designed this way on purpose, maybe that justifies all the other episodes. that lets me imagine those episodes in a light where the doctor causing problems for everyone and shirking responsibility isn't supposed to be a punchline. where his sex pest behavior is acknowledged as problem that he is playing off for humor. where his impulsive decisions causing problems for his companions at every turn and we're supposed to care. I dunno. maybe I'm just a hater, but those three episodes give me a glimpse at a universe where the 11th doctor is a serious character with motivations and character flaws and not the Silly Funny Man that says the funny meme phrases and is a misogynist prick and that's supposed to be hilaaaaarious
