hi, i think in your tags you asked about virginity being a social construct? a lot of people say it is because it implies you /are/ something different before and after you have sex, rather than it just being something you /do/. also the whole deal with it being a much bigger thing for women and the unbroken hymen being a symbol of virginity, which isn't really how hymens work necessarily. sorry if this doesn't help at all but i think that's basically the idea
