Imagine, if you will, that you have a friend. Your friend is a little weird, you disagree on certain things, but, in general, you get along well and respect each other. At some point, you learn that your friend has horribly divorced an even weirder guy. You dislike the Weird Guy, and you have a good reason to. Then, you start to notice that both of them clearly still have feelings for each other (the Weird Guy even has an endearing way to call your friend). If you are unlucky enough, at least one of them starts telling you random things about the other one, often unprompted.
Interestingly enough, this is a problem that both Natsume Takashi and Brigadier Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart, the characters who have literally nothing else in common, including their roles in their respective stories, have.
an alternate universe where classic who and dweu are mainstream and everyone has their gallifreyan chapter in their bio and draws their favourite characters as time lords in their chapter's colours

When I said I liked how this tv show breaks the fourth wall now, I didn't mean it like this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dr Who really is the unspoilerable show. I still can't find the time to watch Joy to the World, and exactly zero posts tagged as dw spoilers I've seen so far made any sense or revealed anything about the episode. Even the ones with gifs or screenshots
the reason for the last two posts is that i'm watching the doctor who moments of all doctor who and there was that one moment from deep breath with strax and the doctor, and my reaction was "hey, it feels like a ytp", so here it it
