Hey Guys!
We’re unsure of much of a surprise this will be to you all, but it’s sad to post regardless, and Emmy and I think this is the best course of action to take. With significant drops in activity and lack of muse in our characters, we have decided to close Wet Hot RPG. To those of you that have remained active, thank you so so much, you’ve made things so amazing for us!
When I first came to Emmy with the idea for this group she was completely supportive and excited, even though she hadn’t seen Wet Hot American Summer--the loose inspo for this group and one of my favorite movies. When we started the group, we were lucky enough to open up interactions within five days of receiving our first app. That was amazing, especially on my part as a first time admin without any real clue of what I was doing.
But all good things must come to an end, and after deliberation, Emmy and I decided that at least for us, this is the end of the line for Camp Firewood. In no way is this an order, to those who are still active, to stop interacting. We will leave the ooc open for you all to gather and chit chat, and encourage you to build connections with your characters. They’re amazing, and we wouldn’t want anyone to miss out on that.
We’ll miss y’all and your characters. Thank you so much for an amazing ride--hopefully you’ll see me or Emmy (probably both of us tbh let’s be real) in other groups in the community!
