“Thirst” prompt for Cullenweek! The Commander takes a break from training to have a drink of water. (Remember to stay hydrated and block with your shield.)

Ohuhu alcohol markers on XPressit Blending card. Background is cheap acrylic paint because I didn’t want to waste marker ink on something which was for me and practice. Loved how this came out in my growing practice with alcohol markers on my art journey. @cullensource

For Cullen Week! Prompt: Scars I tried to convey Cullen’s inner scars in the form of nightmares. I used a stock photo for reference and loved the deep shadows. This is watercolor and Prisma colors. Please be kind. This is literally the first time I’ve done a human being in these mediums and the 2nd time to ever use them at all. (The first one was a portrait of a dog.) @cullensource

For Cullen Week! Prompt: Ever After Audrie Amell and Cullen find some peace before things explode in Dragon Age 4. This is a colored version of a piece I did in October for Cozy Autumn Prompts. I wanted to try it in color and it fit Cullen Week too well not to change it up a little.  Ohuhu alcohol markers on XPress It blending board. For Cullen Week (”Templar” prompt.) A little about this one... Don’t color with alcohol makers over Micron pens unless you’re careful and test it first. Mine smeared everywhere. I wanted to try something different and took a stab at Disney style. I have even more respect for Disney and people who pull off the style now. (Also Anime.) They can make these huge eyed people look like adults. I feel like mine looks a bit like a creepy kid... But anyway, out of 3 projects this was my least favorite. 2 more to follow which I loved. Hopefully a 4th before the week is over! @cullensource

My half of an art trade. Ohuhu and Copic markers with Prismacolors. This is the first time I’ve combined the two. I like it but I need sooo much practice.

@cozy-autumn-prompts Pairing: Cullen/Inquisitor A prompt from Cozy Autumn Prompts Traditional art: Cheap sketch paper, 2B, 4B, 6B and mechanical pencil. Artist Notes: I’m very “meh” on this one. I like the concept and proportions but this needed to be larger. Getting proper facial features and shading on the cheapest 9x11 sketch paper made didn’t do it justice. But I’ll keep it and try it digitally or use it as a base to practice Copic markers someday in the near future. It was also a pain in the butt to photo. I tried it 3 different ways indoors and finally had to tape it to my outside wall in direct sunlight. There’s a better way to photo pencil work, but I’ve yet to find it. Some sort of blood magic, probably.... :P

I can finally share these. We’ve been playing Werewolf: the Apocalypse 2nd Ed. for years. Around Halloween it’s become tradition to have a special session or group of sessions. The entire game is horror themed and you play monsters so it’s not a huge change. Because this is 2020, it was a player’s birthday, and there’s so much stress and things going on, I did something different this year. Instead of the usual serious arc, I made use of a somewhat obscure place in the Umbra - the TV Realm.  The pack found themselves flung into an old style Warner Brothers and Merry Melodies cartoon world. I drew all their characters for them so they could have a visual of how they looked now. The Bone Gnawer has a running joke about how she has layers upon layers of clothes. The “Pack Mom” changed her tribe to White Howler. With 5 years of real time play behind them, they’re gradually trying to bring the Tribe back. Top left is the NPC Get of Fenris. Center was born Silver Fang but before her Rite of Passage decided she was better off as a Glasswalker. Bottom right is a Silent Strider theurge interacting with a spirit.

.... and I’m new to alcohol markers. These were also done quickly, so don’t be too hard on my art.
