Writing and AI

I have a very strong opinion on AI used for writing whether it be fics or original fiction.

In fact, I can't even fathom why some people would want to use AI for writing but then this weekend, I came across something written so poorly that I had to give up reading it and I couldn't help but think that AI at least would have made sense.

I also know of people who use it to help them deal with written tasks where their dyslexia would normally prevent them from completing it.

So here is the poll FOR AI USERS!

Why do you use AI for writing?

I have a hard time getting the thoughts on paper

I'm dyslectic

The language is not my native language

I'm curious of the limits to AI

My English Professors: "Do not use AI. Suspected AI use will be reported to the Office of Academic Integrity."

My Biology Professor(s): "AI is a great study tool. I use AI to make all of my exams, and my lesson plans! Oh it's fine, let's just ask ChatGPT. Okay, no lecture today, here's a worksheet."

we had a presentation at work about on what developments the company wants to do in the next few years ... and most of it is AI. i'm so tired.gif. they showed us all how ai can create videos and images but .... we are in construction. we dont even do that shit. i'm even more tired.jif. and even if there's ai application that could theoretically do shit for us.... why is everyone so eager to go with a tech that isn't even fully developed yet. skeptical about every other digitalization thing but THIS we need. i cant sleep but im exhausted.png.

Theres no such thing as "AI art" or "AI artists" just AI generated images and AI users
