Feeding off some poor soul in a back alley behind a shop might have been a bad idea, but bad ideas really were Demoness’ thing. She did have enough sense to have her hand clamped over her victims mouth as she had her teeth buried in their neck, drinking the blood spilling from the wound.

The sound of footsteps coming down the alley made her snarl but she ignored them initially, human instinct would turn most away at the danger around the corner. This person though didn’t seem to have that instinct she decided, or they ignored it. With a growl she pulled back from the woman she was drinking from, glaring over her shoulder as the intruder rounded the corner.
