I'm always impressed by fandom's ability to take an interesting and fucked up dynamic and reduce it to "character a blushes at character b". This happens every time
opened new post to make a post. took a deep breath. forgot the post instantly.
You guys please stop making sensible arguments as to why the characters I like have bpd I'm at introspection risk if this keeps happening

My posts
I had planned to bounce in here and tell you that Bloober Team has been given the go ahead to remake the first Silent Hill game as well, but current events are just... a lot right now. Even aside from international conflicts--like, I'm here to conspicuously ignore military parades and Seek Joy and all that, but the assassination of two Minnesota lawmakers on "No Kings" Day by a man still on the run was just really--something. And understand here that I say this with the Israel-Iran strikes on TV two rooms away--I hand-wave it as "international conflict" because I don't even know what to say or where it goes from here. It's one of those weeks where the sum of the whole is very heavy, and it's not my "job" to talk about it if I don't want to, but it's inescapably there.
Anyway, I am working slowly on the Silent Hill 2 commentary. I'd like to have the next one finished by the end of this week, but who knows what a week can bring.

Happy Loving Day, honoring the Supreme Court ruling that legalized interracial marriage in the U.S, named for Richard and Mildred Loving, who somehow had the perfect surname for this case.
Rolling Stone interviews Joan Baez: "The folk singer and social activist on the reasons protesting has gotten 'dangerous,' why it’s essential to still show up, and what she felt seeing A Complete Unknown for the first time." She is an absolute firecracker and she's one of those figures I grew up knowing about without actually looking into and I need to change that. Also, here is some context for that Hozier remark.

As Joan Didion wrote, every day is all there is.
As mentioned, "Big news in the fog fandom." As someone who obviously loves the current SH2 remake, the game that convinced me to start playing video games, I can't tell you how exciting this is. ("silent hill 1 remake must include this iconic moment")

Speaking of Disney, "Sibling asked how ppl in star wars dance to jizz music and I had to give her an example." Cue Tumblr discovering that this was not a typo.
