WHYB

Now that WHYB is coming to an end, just thought I would like to share some thoughts/feelings etc!

Writing and posting WHYB was a pretty big step for me personally.

This series is the first ever multi-chapter series i have ever written for any fandom/character. I have always not been too confident about my ability to write character developments so I shied away from long fics for a long time, WHYB being the first time I explored writing something much longer than my usual!

Some of the scenarios and situations I wrote in also do have (some) personal elements in them so this story is something very close to my heart!

One of the things I was worried about was that the later chapters would be disappointing or not match up to the build up of the earlier chapters but it seemed like everyone still really liked it so thank you so so much!

I also want to thank all of you amazing people who loved WHYB as much as I do and for being the most supportive humans ever! @fighterkimburgess @i-like-sparkly-things @halsteadlover @sorryimshannoon @campingmonkey @dreamingmanip @dedlund82 @snarky--starky @morganupstead and the many many others who dropped by to comment and interact with me regarding WHYB!!

The last chapter will be out on Thursday 10pm, GMT +8 as usual, thank you for being here with me on this wild ride!

P.S. I will begin working on my other projects, so please look out for those! I’ll begin sharing a bit more once I have the idea more cemented! ❤️

When is chapter 3 of Where Have You Been coming out!? I’m so excited for this 😍

My timezone is GMT +8 so it should be up by Thursday 10am (GMT -4)? If i got the timezones right LMAO

I kind of finished writing it so I might up the frequency of updates to maybe two times a week? If anyone is up for that haha!

#5 What part was hardest to write from Where Have You Been

If I had to choose one, probably the part where Jay goes to get Y/N after he finds out her location.

I knew what I wanted to portray and I could literally see the scene play out in my head but I had some difficulty translating it into words. I was trying to balance out the actions to make it as in-line with Jay’s character as possible (which i hope came out well enough in the story!) I’m not that used to writing blow-by-blow fighting scenes too so there was that too haha

Another part I wanted to mention was Y/N’s character development - writing the story to show how with a little of Jay’s help, Y/N was able to find herself once again despite Joshua 😂 (which i also hope came out well!)
