I miss days of being able to watch things (movies, ads, tv shows, etc.) without examining things and asking 8 million questions. Like yeah I always asked questions but not to the level or extent that I do now. And the types of questions are way more technical life before; like what kind of lighting is being used, what camera angle is this, what type of shot is this, how are the actors/characters positioned in the scene, etc. Also a character's motivation for their actions, their back story, their relationship to the other characters etc. Part of it is I care more now about things like representation and I understand how to look for these things now.

But GOD DAMN! I just wanna be able to watch movies and shows with out wondering if some writer is a big enough asshole to kill off a character because of something they did a season or 2 movies ago! I blame college, @kd2900 and @goth-albino-angel for this
