Yeah I have a lot of deja-vu dreams.

Well nothing I have to sing too loud because of the apartment next to us, but really anything I'm listening to.

Tell me about your favourite day.
Wow um idk. I wish I could say that I've had a perfect day, but realistically things don't work that way. Don't get me wrong, I've had a lot of great days, like during Senior Send-off after graduation where we got to play laser tag and took a midnight cruise around Boston. That was amazing. But I don't really think I could name a specific day that I found to be my favorite.
Would you go into space?
No absolutely not fuck that fuck space I've seen too many movies about scary space things so no way
What do you want to be when you grow up?
Well first I'm hoping to get a Ph.D in Forensic Psychology, then if I do, I want to work with inmates at a maximum security prison. That probably won't pay the bills, so maybe I'll do some teaching at a local university or something. Over the years I've grown fond of the idea of teaching.
Have you ever been so overcome by beauty that you felt like you wouldn’t have minded the world ending right then?
This is an interesting question. I know that is a common feeling but I feel like seeing something of immense beauty or feeling true, overwhelming joy would cause the opposite reaction in me. The times in my life where I have been the happiest have made me wish "wow, I hope this never ends". Of course, it does. Therefore I go back to life as usual but I can refer back to those memories at any moment. As cliche and stupid as it sounds, without the monotony of life or even some low points, feelings of pleasure would have no meaning. I know that sounds hella naive, but that's how I choose to look at life; knowing that he world goes on but also that moments of joy could always be around the corner. It's just a matter of getting there.
.So, ultimately, no.
If you could become immortal (and endlessly healthy/able to boot) would you do it?
I'm not sure. I'd definitely be interested in seeing how the world plays out over centuries and how we progress, but I can't imagine how hard it would be for me to slowly lose my friends and family as they die out. I can barely watch plants die without crying.
Who are your favourite people? Why?
There are a lot of people who have impacted my life in huge ways. Dani, of course, who is my best friend in the entire world. I wouldn't be here without her. As gay as it sounds, she literally completes who I am as a person and I can't even imagine what it would be like to not have met her. Also Sean, who is another best friend of mine. We've had a long run but we always seem to be there in each others' lives. Again, I can't imagine not knowing him. My family, of course, has had a huge impact on who I am and have been there for me through whatever life throws at me. Honestly, that's all I really have.
What’s your favourite stuffed toy?
This is easy: my Snugg'ems. He's this weird looking beanie-baby type rabbit wearing footie pajamas. Weird, right? I got him as a christmas gift when I was, god, 5 years old? Maybe even younger? He's been with me since as long as I can remember and is honestly one of the only possessions I've been able to keep unharmed from my childhood. Except for the time his ear got ripped off when I was 10 and I cried and cried and cried until my (now ex) step-mom sewed it back on (to shut me up)...backwards. I don't sleep with him anymore, he's too valuable and I don't want to risk something happening to him, so I just keep him in my closet out of harms way. If I ever have a kid maybe I'll give him to them. Maybe. Probably not.

I'm actually heading to Portland (Maine) to get it done! I'd meant to ask you about artists (per Megan's suggestion), but I utterly failed to do any planning. The date is important (tomorrow would be my dad's 61st birthday, and this is a memorial tattoo of sorts), which is why I'm not just getting my shit in order and planning this for a month or two from now. Also, the tattoo I want is very simplistic -- minimalist solid color anchor on my hip -- which is why I trust that a walk-in place can do it justice. I don't really need the artistry of a custom parlor, but I'm happy to spend my money supporting that kind of place, if you have a suggestion. In case it isn't abundantly clear, this will be my first tattoo.
