🅡🅔🅓 🅐🅛🅔🅡🅣 🅗🅔🅡🅔 . Shashi Tharoor is very well known for his political and literary career. His columns in @the_hindu and @timesofindia have been a read on. Tharoor began writing at the age of 6 and very soon his writing gained the recognition it deserved. . Book #whyiamahindu Published by @alephbookco . 2018, I was in Delhi when this book came into our lives and I got my hands asap. He writes about the history of Hinduism and the religious developments that came a long way. He has also beautifully spaced his personal beliefs in this book. Beginning from the vedas to the myths, the narrative is strong and subtle. I decided to read this just cause the genre got my attention. But there have been a lot of controversial statements and I did not approve of the same. A lot of people claiming to be his fan, didn't find the book convincing so did I. The first part is all about the roots of Hinduism and the second part is how beautifully you find the flowers of this tree. But then, you might or might not like the flowers, all on you. . . . . . #hinduism #englishliterature #indianbookstagrammer #bookblogger #booklover #bookishpost #bookaddict #bookrecommendations #shashitharoor #shashitharoorbooks #bookstagram #mythology #religiousbook #raipur #chhattisgarh #indianbooks #bookshelf #booksonspirituality #booksonhinduism #hystericallylost #bookishreels (at Raipur - Capital of Chhattisgarh) https://www.instagram.com/p/CQ_M6wZFZfU/?utm_medium=tumblr
