I like to sew my own clothes to show off my inner child, uniqueness and quirkiness. Also due to my autism I have sensory issues and so it is difficult to find clothes that both fit my 5ft 2" frame as well as not itch and be comfy. Being able to sew allows me to make the clothes out of a non itchy fabric as well as be loose and comfy. Also I find sewing relaxing and it helps me self regulate and destress. Also I just love people asking where I get my outfit from and then their reaction to me saying "I made it" is just priceless.

Well, today was the day. When I first got my sewing machine I made sure to buy a pack of patches. I wanted a sewing machine to fix things, not just make new things. I bought these Carhartts less than 2 months ago and if I didn't have a sewing machine, I'm almost positive, my husband would have just thrown them in the trash.
