Rough Patch

Whenever I'm upset, even about the smallest thing, I still just want my mommy and although I love my step-dad I'm sometimes very jealous. Because when I was a child and upset I could just jump in my mom's bed and give her a big hug and there was no one else to bug, just her and all the comforts that come with being a mom and everything would feel okay and now I can't. Well, I'm sure I could but I think I'd scare the crap out of them 😄 I will forever be a mommas girl and I'll always continue to be the baby even as an adult ❤

I love this photo so much now. When this was first taken I hated myself, how I looked, and everything I was going through. I thought I was a bad mom because I couldn't find the time for me that I needed to properly take care of myself so I could be a good mom. I felt like I had so much love to give but I had no idea how to give myself any. Now I look back and see what a beautiful process it was to change from a normal girl to a strong mother. I learned to embrace the fear in my eye and give my life everything and this picture reminds me that's there's always a beginning. You truly have to start somewhere and you can never give up on yourself. I've become so strong and so much more vulnerable. I couldn't be more proud of myself for doing what I needed for my child and family until I could find myself again.

Supernatural and yoga saved my life. The Purge was the biggest eye opener ever. It's been 2yrs since I decided to start practicing yoga because of @jaredpadalecki in that episode. The best moment of 2016 for me was when my niece opened the blanket I made for her on Christmas eve. Her words were "it's so softy" and she gave me the biggest hug. The scariest moment in my life was the moment that I realized my biggest fear is not being accepted after 25 years of never being accepted. How can you fear something that is a constant in your life? Why is this possible? How can something so meaningless hold you back from being who you want to be? I want to be strong and okay in my own skin but I'm not sure that day will ever come.

When the insomnia hits you hard and you decided to turn a negative into a positive. That was me at 3am this morning. Pinterest is my weakness and I happened to find an awesome youtube tutorial for infinity scarves. I used a red minky and a green fluffy fleece. They are both unbelievably soft and warm. Can't wait to gift these and make one for myself ❤🎅🎄😄

How are you supposed to enjoy the holidays when you are finally grown enough to realize everyone in your family are horrible pigs that see the world with a dark light over it and like it that way. How are you supposed to celebrate the best time of the year when the people who raised you are pessimistic and don't believe in giving or sharing. What are you supposed to do when you're surrounded by hate, self-pity and selfishness? It took me 25 years to realize that I wasn't the problem and now I'm stuck and have nowhere to go because I love my mom and she's the only decent one out of the bunch. I try so hard to stay positive and strong to my beliefs, but how do you do that in a room full of people ready to tear you down...

Last night I decided I wanted to practice making babyblankets and I also decided to donate as many as I can afford to make before christmas 🎄 my mom is a city bus driver in Seattle and she always has passenger that are in need, so these first two will be going to passengers if her choosing. This year I’m in the christmas spirit a little early and wanted to do some extra giving. I want my child to know that Christmas is a lot more than just giving presents to people you know. It’s also about helping in any way you can. I’m hoping this will be a yearly traditon and I’m even thinking of making some sets with bibs and hats ❤❤❤🌎✌🎄

Well, today was the day. When I first got my sewing machine I made sure to buy a pack of patches. I wanted a sewing machine to fix things, not just make new things. I bought these Carhartts less than 2 months ago and if I didn't have a sewing machine, I'm almost positive, my husband would have just thrown them in the trash. The fact that peasant blouses and addidas are fashionable again, makes me happy as a kid in a candy store! 🤗 I'm a 90's baby through and through and looking at this picture makes me think of Sabrina the Teenage Witch.
