Day 25--#witchinghour This is the second piece this month that I had to constantly rotate to work on, something I've never done before but I'm finding I really like and seems to challenge a more dynamic composition. Day 19--#sepulchre This was one of the prompts that I had an idea for right away when putting the list together and I am so, so excited how its coming out and that I was able to pull it off. That being said I'm getting a little too sucked into it, and while I don't want to get behind in Inktober I don't want to potentially rush this one. Day 21--#phobia I feel like I've hit the painting wall and my heart just wasn't in this one. At the same time I can't believe that the month is almost over already... Completed, I realized that this adresses a few real life phobias of mine. The initial and foremost being social anxiety, fear of talking and interacting with others, saying or doing the wrong thing, with crowds, and being in the spotlight. Day 16--#lovecraftianhorror So something I should admit first, while I love and am fairly familiar with the Lovecraft universe, I haven't actually read very much of the literature itself *ducks* I know, I know. As a genre of horror the Lovecraft flavor is one of my favorites and putting it on the list was an extra push for myself to dive into his work. Listened to readings of "Nyarlathotep" and "The Dunwich Horror" while painting. This definitely isn't one of my cleanest or best technically executed pieces this month, but I have to admit I made a huge mess painting it and loved every second. Also, OFFICIALLY OVER HALFWAY THROUGH INKTOBER! you guys. This is my favorite month for many reasons but the work you guys have been pumping out is fricken mind blowing and so inspiring.
