Tunney Week: Why Robin?

This is a hard question for me as there are so many things I love and admire about Robin and I have no idea how to write them down coherently cause she’s just so great! 😃

The first time I saw Robin in anything was The Mentalist and I’m so glad I decided to watch that amazing show. Teresa Lisbon immediately became my favourite character and I completely fell in love with Robin’s portrayal of her as she has so many strengths and vulnerabilities and always manages to push through and keep going, it’s beautiful to watch.

Robin really helped me through most of my teenage years, she is so passionate in everything she does and isn’t afraid to face her fears which is so admirable! Whenever I’m having a bad day she always makes me feel better with her incredible talent in portraying so many different characters and just being genuinely lovely as she has an incredibly kind heart and is super sweet to fans. She truly is my inspiration.

I’m thankful everyday that she exists and if it wasn’t for Robin I would never have known @the-woman-in-12b who I now consider to be one of my closest friends (and I finally get to meet her in 2 weeks which is amazing!)

You deserve so much love Robin, thank you for being you! ❤️

Robin is my woman crush wednesday, every wednesday! To me it’s pretty obvious why that is, but many people can’t see what i see. “The craft” is the main reason why horror movies are my favorite type. And when i thought that this was enough, then “The Mentalist” comes along.Teresa Lisbon is by far my favorite character on a tv show.

Why Robin? Because she is authentic! She is natural and real and so down to earth. I love everything about her. She is amazing in what she does.She is who she is and she always seems to do things that fulfill her.She is beautiful from inside out (obviously), kind and gentle with everyone. Virtues that most people lack nowadays.She is a very strong woman and i always believe in her. She seems like the person who never creates troubles and everyone has something sweet to say about her. I simply love her! Im so happy and proud of her and wish her the best. Always.

Tunney Week: Why Robin?

I became a fan of Robin while I was watching the Mentalist and I was fascinated by her incredible talent. That’s probably what drew me to her in the first place. However that’s not the only reason why I’m still such a huge fan of her. I watched many interviews of her and I began to truly love her personality. Of course she is a very talented actress but she is also such a gorgeous, caring, modest, genuine and honest woman with a shining personality and good soul. That’s why I love her so much. I can’t even begin to explain how much I value her. I’m blessed and lucky to have such a wonderful inspiration. There are only a few people who cast a spell on me and she is definitely one of them. She truly takes my breath away and makes me smile. I’m so proud of her and her accomplishments. I don’t know what I’d do without her. I adore Robin. I would like to thank her for simply being herself. She’s amazing just the way she is.

Tunney Week! Why Tunney?

Robin Tunney is a little angel! I am a huge fan of The Mentalist, that’s how I got to know her. When the show started I was a pretty young teenager and it was advertised as this big new US show starring the sexy Simon Baker and I loved it from the very first episode.

Everytime I talked about the show with someone they always mentioned Simon and how handsome he is, and I agreed. But my favourite character has always been Lisbon. She was so small and looked so fragile, but she was a force of nature, emotionally scarred, boss ass bitch in charge and I always loved the episodes who centered on her the most (Red Badge is a masterpiece which will forever be my favourite). 

So when I got older I started getting more involved with fandom things and googling all the actors. And since I was so fascinated by Robin and her amazing acting skills I started watching a lot of the things she has done over the years. I started watching Prison Break (and being incredibly mad when they killed Veronica - she could have been so much more to the plot!), House (even though she was only in the Pilot, haha!) and every movie I could find. I loved her in all of them! Niagara, Niagara is my personal favourite! She is so great in that one! 

By then I already had a major crush on her. I watched every video I could find, read every article and interview with her which made me realize she had an amazing personality as well. She is so funny, flirty, humble, self-aware, passionate about her work... and really down to earth. I loved that when she joined twitter she would answer so many fans, even personal questions, sharing her day to day life, letting us in on her thoughts. 

So, if you read this Robin: I love you! Thank you for work and for thinking about us fans!
