it's time for #whySDT Wednesday! Today we hear from sister Julia. "I chose SDT because it is an organization whose main purpose is to empower women regardless of background, beliefs, or upbringing. I loved the idea of being a part of something so inclusive. I was a sophomore when I became a sister and up until that point in my college career, I hadn't felt like I really found my place on campus. I was having a hard time connecting with others who had similar values and goals as me, and I felt very alone. This organization encourages me to always be the best version of myself and for that, I am always grateful. I'm surrounded by amazing women who I get to proudly call my sisters. I've made so many friends and memories in just one year, and I can't wait to see where SDT will take me in the future. When I found Sigma Delta Tau, I found my home."
